A trick my grandma taught me...Put your hands in the corner pockets of one side, then reach for the pocket across from it. Tuck your hand (and the pocket you're holding) into those pockets. Next, fold this in half and tuck one into the other until you only have one fitted corner. Lay this out on a flat surface and fold the edges (like an L)in to form a perfect rectangle, smooth out the wrinkles and fold as you would a flat sheet. It takes practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's very simple! She always stored her linens in a glass paned cupboard, and to keep them looking pretty (and fresh), she would take and stack the matching sets, tie them with lengths of grosgrain ribbon and tuck little sachets into the ribbon. I loved climbing into those sheets when I was a little girl!Is it possible to properly fold a fitted sheet?
Yes first take the inside edges and lebel them points A,B,Cand D - move point A to pint C making sure you do not inhibit the stretchy bit (lets call that E ) you will now see that B and D are unhappy and need E to resolve their problem . Wrap E around A and D making a Japanese style Condoola . now simply fold into a perfect square andVoila - a properly folded fitted sheet . The problem is now how to properly fit a folded sheet .Is it possible to properly fold a fitted sheet?
absolutely not in the universe as we know it!
