Will a twin sheet fit a full size bed?

Hi, I am moving into an apartment in a couple of weeks, and the bed that I have is full size. Right now, I am sleeping on a twin size bed, and all I have is twin size sheets. Will my twin sheets fit onto a full mattress, or am I going to have to buy new sheets?Will a twin sheet fit a full size bed?

The fitted twin sheet will NOT fit a full size bed. However, your top sheet (the flat sheet) should be sufficient for you to cover you on the full sized bed. However, it won't drape over the side of the bed. So you will need to buy full sized sheets for your full sized bed. Different sized sheets work okay when moving DOWN a size, but not going up. Sorry. Enjoy your new bed. Full size beds rocks! You'll have more room to lounge around, read, hang out with other people and spread out on the bed. You'll never go back to a twin again.
No, the sheets won't fit, a full size bed is 16 inches wider. But they are the same length. You could just use flat sheets and tuck them under if the mattress is not too thick. your blankets will work fine, although not hang down on the sides. Look for sales...full sheets are cheap.
No, there's a big difference between a twin size and a full size. You can get away with full on a twin, but not twin on a full. Sheets aren't that expensive, you can get them for $6 at Wal-Mart.

granted, it depends on the manufacture of the sheets, but i would say that they would not fit because a full is larger than a twin.
If the full size bed doesn't have a pillow topper on it, it could possibly fit, but you would really be chancing it. Sorry, hope this helps! good luck!
