If you are making the bed with 2 flat sheets.
You put the first sheet over your mattress/ bed pad if you have one.You leave more sheet to head of your bed, then tuck from the head to the foot, making your hospital corners. Then you put your top sheet down, with more sheet to the bottom, and the rest of your blankets, make your hospital corners that way.
Use of a fitted sheet you put your fitted sheet over your mattress, it will fit evenly and you will not need to tuck it in. Then put your top sheet over that, leaving the extra to the bottom, and the rest of your covers, tuck in.
