Any tips for folding fitted sheets neatly?

Maybe I'm being a little obsessive-compulsive, but I hate knowing that, though they may look neat enough in the linen closet, they're really just haphazardly folded and only look neat because the flat sheets and pillowcases on top of them are flattening them down.Any tips for folding fitted sheets neatly?

Slip your hand into 2 top corners of the sheet.


With one hand inside each of the top 2 corners, fold the sheet (right sides together). Slip each of the top corners into one of the bottom corners.


Lay sheet on bed or table. Arrange and fold the corners neatly. Turn in selvage edges enough to make 4 straight sides.


Fold in half, then in half again. (All four corners will be stacked together, and sheet will be in a long strip.


Then fold the long strip in half, then in half (or thirds, depending on the size of the sheet) again to make a square.


Sheet should be a compact, neat square.


Smooth and place on shelf.
Lay it flat. Fold it in half, insert the bottom cups into the top cups. One side will be inside out. this will creat a rectangle. hold the sheet by the outside corners and fold it like a regular sheet. comes out better than anything i've tried.
Put your fingers in the corners and and fold in half into the opposite corner, then lay on your bed, or a flat surface and fold the edges in neatly, then fold in half again and then continue to fold to the size you want. It's all about making sure the edges are folded neatly and not just slapped over.
put your hands in to the cuff at teh top of the sheet, bring the bottom cuffs up, and cover the cuffs on your hands with the bottom of the sheet cuffs. lay on table and fold into thirds, then fold that into thirds.
Dont fold them by the elastic, but by the corner above where the seem comes to a point, keep all the elastic inside and the inner seam between them, you can make a box between the corners where the seems end and fold them by that and the whole mess of elastic is inside..then fold them inwards half and again half and again....this is how you do it for hotels...hope it helps
You only need two sets of sheets for each bed -- the one that's on the bed and an extra set. If you have more than that, you're cluttering up your closets. Don't worrry about how to fold them. Simply store the extra set between the mattress and box springs and then it doesn't really matter how they're folded.
im the same as you. drives me crazy. i fold mine the best i can, then say forget it, if no one like the way they look, then they dont have to look in my closet. lol i never have been able to fold a fitted sheet. but they do roll into nice balls when fustrated. id go with what the first answerer said. seems to be worth a try.
I love folding fitted sheet麓s , It麓s not hard at all. Fold the sheet in half, lay it on the ironing board. Now push the corners in so they fit at the elastic part. Okay?. Now as it麓s still on the ironing board, take 1 half of the sheet and bring it to the middle, iron this half. then do the same with the other half , bring it to the middle. Then fold again , iron , then fold to the size you wish , so it fit麓s in your closet. Takes a little practice, but it麓s nice when you make the bed .

It's easiest enough to do but hard to explain but here goes. On each end push the one fitted piece into the other. Fold down each end. Lay out flat and then bring the long arched side in to create a rectangle. Bring ends to ends and you're done. Good luck.

tuck the cuffs within each other fold then fold in half and tuck the first cuffs in the second cuffs fold the cuffed side in just enough to make square and trifold.
