How do you fold fitted sheets without 3 hands??????

It's quite simple...my grandmother taught me several years ago.

1- Hold the sheet in front of you w/one hand in each pocket.

2- Fold in half lengthwise inserting one pocket over the other, lay flat on bed and do the same with other pocket.

3-To make the sheet even, you must fold in the overlapping part, then fold in half again inserting the pockets until you get your desired fold.

If you practice a few times, you will do it without thinking. Good Luck and happy folding! How do you fold fitted sheets without 3 hands??????
Fold in half on a table or in the air. Sometimes I sub by bed for the table. Put the sides with elastic bands inside. and always keep the the bands on the inside. Keep on folding in half. Occasionally you might need to rub your hand over the sheet to cut down on the wrinkles. The final fold is in thirds and it will produce a nice folded sheet. I got lots of practice when I worked at an institution for the retarded, so I know this technique works. How do you fold fitted sheets without 3 hands??????
ooooo u dont have three hands??? i guess i cant help u then....
Folding them on a bed helps.
LOL - I haven't folded sheets in years.

The sheets %26amp; 1 pillowcase are put into the 2nd pillowcase and then into the Linen closet. When you are ready to change the bed sheets, all of the fresh linen is together in one place and ready to go.
you probably have to fold it and lay it on the ground and grab different corners. its possible just not as easy
uhhhh what?
two people!
lay it out on the floor and pull it flat. Folr it up and make it flat again. continue the process and once you've finally folded it small enough, you can use your own two hands and make it straight everytime, or it'll turn out into a lump.
Martha Stewart (on her old show) did a segment on this, there is a trick to it. If you want to do it perfectly, check out her website, or her book ';Homekeeping';, or send her website an e-mail, etc. She also features ';how to'; questions like this on her new show.
Hahaha, try folding in the edges in first so the sheet is somewhat in a square. Or just fold fold fold and force it into a ball like i do :)
Do u have a chin?
It's really not that hard.

1. Slip your hand into 2 top corners of the sheet.

2. With one hand inside each of the top 2 corners, fold the sheet (right sides together). Slip each of the top corners into one of the bottom corners.

3. Lay sheet on bed or table. Arrange and fold the corners neatly. Turn in selvage edges enough to make 4 straight sides.

4. Fold in half, then in half again. (All four corners will be stacked together, and sheet will be in a long strip.

5. Then fold the long strip in half, then in half (or thirds, depending on the size of the sheet) again to make a square.

6. Sheet should be a compact, neat square.

7. Smooth and place on shelf.

After folding the flat sheet, I usually tuck the folded fitted sheet and pillow cases into the flat sheet so that they are all together.

p.s. If I can figure out how to get some photo's onto photo bucket I will put the links up later today.
