How do you fold fitted sheets?

No matter how I do it, my fitted sheets end up being rolled in to a ball and shoved in the cupboard next to the perfecly folded flat sheets.

How do you do it? I've been told to put one corner inside another so the elastic ';corners'; lines up one on top of the other, but it['s still very lumpy.

I see loads of other people's all nice and flat so I can't even tell if it's fitted or flat! How do you fold fitted sheets?

OMG!!! They deleted the latin word c u m (meaning ';along with';) and now I can't edit it and I appear to be a gutter mouth!!!

It was meant to say -

You stick your hands in the corners and then tuck them into one another, then you tuck them into the remaining corners... what you end up with is a rectangle with the folded corners making one of the corners... then you just fold it normal, like an ordinary rectangle...
u take two corners and fit them together then u procede to roll in a ball while trying to fold flat then u put a folded flat sheet on top of it !!
yea put the corners together and if your a little fiddly with things lay it in your bed while you do it. it will take a little longer but you will get better with time. After you get the corner together straighten it out and do a 4 fold. perfect flat fitted sheets in less than 3 minutes.
corners meet in the middle then do a 4 fold.
