How do i make a fitted sheet?

Sew elastic at the four corners by taking a fitted sheet you now have and seeing how this is done would be the simplest solution. How do i make a fitted sheet?
a temporary way is to tie knots at the corners, place the sheet on the bed and pull the corners down tight. If you want to make it permanent mark where the knots, fold the corners under, add a piece of stretch material and sew.How do i make a fitted sheet?
To make a fitted sheet, strip your bed of all the bedclothes first.

Now, take your sheet fabric, and lay it on the bed, tucking it in neatly all around, taking special care at the corners. Using safety pins or dressmaking pins, secure the corner folds in place.

Remove the fabric carefully, and use more pins to secure your corner folds. You will now have to trim off the extra fabric that is tailing to a point, in line with the depth of the side hem.

When you have trimmed off the extra, remove the pins and neaten the cut edge, then sew a hem of about an inch depth all around the sheet, leaving a gap of about two inches in one place.

Now, to insert the elastic, which must be about a bit shorter than the entire length of hem around the sheet. It must also be narrower than your one inch deep hem.

Using a safety pin attached to the end of the elastic, push the elastic through the hem, gathering as you go. This will take a long time, but keep going until you read the end. Pull the safety pin out the other side of the two inch gap in the hem.

Now knot the elastic ends together loosely while you gather most of the folds at the four corners of the sheet. Do not make the elastic too tight or you will not be able to draw it over the mattress all around.

When you are happy with the way you can pull it around and stretch it, plus the fit on the gathered corners, make the elastic knot tighter and sew it out of sight.

This is the best way I know.
measure what ever you want to put on a sheet then measure the sheet
