I have always had the hardest time so mostly I just ball it up and put it in the linen closet! Is there a special technique involved to make it pretty? How do you fold a fitted sheet?
Awhile ago, I came across an old issue of Martha Stewart Living and it had the instructions on how to fold a fitted sheet. I found them on the website for you.
How To Fold A Fitted Sheet
There is a foolproof technique for folding a fitted sheet. These instructions are for a right-handed person; just reverse them if you're left-handed.
1. Stand holding the sheet by the two adjacent corners of one of the shorter edges. With the sheet inside out, place one hand in each of these two corners.
2. Bring your right hand to your left, and fold the corner in your right hand over the one in your left, enveloping it. Next, reach down and pick up the corner that is hanging in front; bring it up, and fold it over the two corners in your left hand; the corner that's showing will be inside out.
3. Bring the last corner up, and fold it over the others; with its right side showing, it should envelop the other three corners.
4. Lay the folded sheet on a flat surface and straighten it into the shape shown.
5. Fold the two edges in so all the elastic is hidden.
6. Fold the sheet into a rectangle.
7. Continue folding until the rectangle is the size you want it to be.

Just watch this video, he explains it so much better than I ever could.

Suesaucy is right. I call the corners ears--I fold the sheets down the middle, tuck one ear inside the other so there are two ears instead of four, fold the sides in, smooth out with hands, fold in thirds, and either fold up or roll up. I usually roll the sheet sets--the flat sheet layed out flat and in half, place the fitted sheet on top, and lay the pillow cases inside at the top of bottom, fold in thirds, and roll up.
I just roll mine up in a ball and flatten it. I am not gonna spend 5 minutes folding a sheet.
Fold the sheet in half and you will findyou have two corners. Tuck one inside the other. Turn the sheet around and do the same to the other two corners. Fold in half again so the all corners come together and tuck then inside one another. No you should be able to make a neat folded parcel of the sheet. Sorry if this doen't make sense but it is easier to show than explain.
